We are Outrigger Publishing Company, a boutique publisher dedicated to building an international bridge, through literature, between East and West. We nurture new artists, embrace classic cultural literature and translate works into modern English.
Our mission is to identify and assist up-and-coming writers from Turkey and America, and reveal their works to the Western world. We do this by offering workshops specifically tailored to your needs, letting you succeed no matter what your level of experience.

Hidden
HIDDEN is a journal for writers worldwide. Submissions can be poetry, short story and essays.
The subject matter for the first collection is Covid-19 isolation and/or Black Lives Matter protests related experiences. Your written experience may be tragic, tender, funny, inspiring or dark - however you have experienced these recent global events.
Original works of art including photographs, drawings, etchings and lithographs can also be submitted in a JPEG format file.
Feryat Newman, Turkish-American poet and writer, has explored many avenues of writing, including short stories and novels. She has released a collection of poetry called Dying Is Not For Sissies. Her powerful imagery and clear emotions are poured out in Western themes with an underlying Middle Eastern soul.
Feryat completed college at the age of 18 in Turkey. Upon coming to America, she obtained a second degree in the English Department at UCLA. She studied Irish Literature at Cambridge University, UK.
